Hip-Hop Pioneer Dead At 43

Gang Starr rapper and hip-hop legend Guru, passed away at the age of 43; following a battle with cancer.  Guru, whose real name is Keith Elam has been hospitalized for the past two months durig his fight with cancer

Guru came on the scene after teaming up with DJ Premier to form the group Gang Starr.  The duo released six studio albums between 1989 and 2003.  Since then Guru had released a series of 'Jazzmataz' albums where he teamed up with classic jazz, soul and hip hop artists.  He also continued to tour the world with a band and producer Solar.

Keri Forgets The Words......

Last night's game in Atlanta between the Hawks and Lakers was filled with stars such as Monica, T.I., Polow Da Don, and more.  The Hawks prevailed victorious 109-92 over the Lakers; but the spectacle was before the game as Keri Hilson sung the National Anthem and forgot the words.   She got nervous, but kept it moving, see for yourself.
