The King Released From Prison

Rap superstar Clifford "T.I." was released from prison in Forest City, Arkansas and is expected to serve the remainder of his his sentence in a halfway house located in Atlanta.  Harris was originally sentenced to a year and a day in prison for weapons charges resulting from an October 2007.  According to sources, prisoners sentenced to 366 days are eligible for a 54-day sentence reduction for good behavior.  Once Harris completes his time at the halfway house in late March, he will still have to finish serving just under 500 hours of community service and about 23 days of home incarceration.

Bengals WR Dies After Domestic Dispute

Cincinnati wide receiver Chris Henry died this morning after being taken off life support; during a domestic dispute with his fiancee.  According to sources, the domestic dispute began Wednesday at a home about a half-mile away from where Henry was found.  He had jumped into the bed of the pickup as his fiancée was driving away from the residence, and at some point when she was driving, Henry came out  the back of the vehicle

26-year old Henry is survived by three young children and his fiancee; my condolences go out to the entire family.

Nelly Gets Robbed

St. Lunatic rapper Nelly's mansion in Wildwood, Missouri was burglarized early Friday morning.  A call was made from inside the house from a female; Nelly was not present in the home while the incident took place. According to police report, suspect may have gotten in the house by open window.  Reports also stae the intruder got away with a qbag full of electronics that along belong to Nelly and fled away in a black GMC Yukon.

Queensbridge rapper Nasir "Nas" Jones has been ordered by a judge to pay $40,454 in spousal support and $10,647 in child support; Nas has recently requested joint custody of his child.   According to sources, this decision came after a two-day hearing which determined the rapper has made enough money over the year to support his ex-wife and son.

Shaq Pays For Little Girl's Funeral

Cleveland Cavalier center Shaquille O'Neal paid for the funeral of a 5 year old North Carolina girl Shaniya Davis.  According to police reports, Shaniya Davis, was kidnapped, raped and murdered after being reported missing November 10.   Her body was then found six days later on a roadside 30 miles from her hometown of Fayetteville, North Carolina. Her funeral was last Sunday. 

O'Neal issued a statement release via his team stating "What happened to her was tragic. I wanted her to have a funeral that would be as beautiful as she was."

Explosives Found Near T.I.'s Grand Hustle Studio

Investigations took place today at at Grand Hustle Studios in Atlanta when two molotov cocktails were found outside the building Thursday morning.  The Atlanta SWAT team was sent to the studio an occupant noticed the explosives by the building as he was attempting to start his car. 

Wow!  Even though Tip locked up, it seems like somebody is out to get Grand Hustle....wonder who it could be?  If Tip were out he would say to all the haters, "You can hate if you want to, but you wasting your time."

This past weekend, 50 Cent was in Vegas for the Pacquiano/Cotto fight; as you know he brought company with him(Rick Ross baby momma and kids).  They stayed at Mayweather's mansion; in the video above he's  parading around taking pictures with them like they're one happy family!  This is so disrespectful and could be the deathblow to the biggest boss.

Gucci Goes Back To Jail

Atlanta rapper Radric "Gucci Mane" Davis has been sentenced to 1 year in prison for violating terms of his probation.  According to sources, Gucci attended a court hearing earlier today to determine whether or not he'd have to serve time for an unspecified infraction that violated the conditions of his probation; afterwards he was sent to Fulton County Jail in Atlanta to serve 12 months.  Depending on his behavior, he could only serve 6 months. 

2009 has not been a good year for rappers; Gucci, TI, Lil Boosie, C-Murder and Lil Wayne can all attest to that.

DC Sniper Executed Last Night

DC sniper, John Lee Muhammad was pronounced dead last night at 9:11pm at the at the Greensville Correctional Center in Virginia. Muhammed and Lee Boyd Malvo (who is currently serving a life sentence) were the duo behind the 2002 sniper attacks that left 10 people dead in Maryland, Virginia and Washington D.C.  Muhammad died silently Tuesday night in a Virginia prison death chamber filled with lawyers, correctional officers and his victims’ family members.

Lil Boosie Gets Double Time

NOW THIS DONT MAKE NO SENSE!!!!!!     "Bad Azz"  Lil Boosie will now have two extra years tacked on to his original 2 yr bid; after violating orders of his plea deal.  As agreed, Boosie plead guilty to a third-offense marijuana possession charge back in September and was only expected to serve a year behind bars; additionally, as part of the deal, Boosie was ordered to be electronically monitored and to clear his concert dates with the court while awaiting sentencing this week.  Somehow on more than one occasion, the rapper's monitor indicated he violated portions of the judge’s order.  Here's what the Baton Rouge judge CHip Moore said to Bossie before sending him straight to jail,

“I really hope that you get it straight, ” said Moore.”You have the ability to change people’s lives for the better, including your own. I’m disappointed because it’s bad decision-making.”

Boosie will be on probation for five years after he is released from prison.  DAM, THAT'S A SHAME!!

Shaq Gets Served

NBA allstar Shaquille O'Neal was served with seperation papers by wife, Shaunie early this week.  According to sources, she has packed up the kids and all to move back to LA; all of this which is stemming from Shaq creeping around with Shaunie's best friend; who happens to be engaged to Washington Wizards star Gilbert Arenas.  Now if we take a trip down memory lane, Shaunie was creeping with her and 2 years ago and Shaq was on the verge of divorcing her; must be two sides!  I will keep you posted on the outcome.

Comedian Katt Williams was arrested on burglary and criminal trespass charges in a Coweta County

 in Georgia, early Monday morning.  According to police report, Williams  used a crowbar to force his way into a home in a rural area about six miles west of Newnan, Georgia, late Sunday; also  over $3,500 worth of jewelry and collectable coins were stolen.

This evening, Katt Williams was at his bond hearing , telling the judge he could have his $200,000 Bentley if it would get him out of jail quicker.  Coweta County Magistrate Judge Joseph Wyatt settled for a $41,150 bond instead.

According to sources, Fulton County Superior Court Judge Bensonetta Tipton Lane issued a final decree in the divorce case of Usher Raymond IV and Tameka Foster on Wednesday.

Usher, 31, filed for divorce from Tameka Raymond on June 12.  The former couple have two young sons, ages 2 and 1.  Originally when Usher files for divorce, he was seeking joint custody of the boys; howver no custody arrangements were detailed in the divorve decree.  Ladies.......USHER is BACK!

Tyler Perry Gets Pissed

As you are all aware, there have been directors(African American) that have said some very demeaning things about Tyler Perry's work;  one of them, Spike Lee, was quoted saying,

    “I think there is alot of stuff that’s out today that’s coonery and buffoonery.  I see ads for “House of Payne” and “Meet The Browns” and I’m scratching my head. We got a black president and we are going back. The image is troubling and we are going back to Amos & Andrews”.

First of all Spike, if you would actually watch the shows you would see that Tyler Perry is not only about comedy but deals with real issues regarding the African American community.   Also, if you didnt agree with his work, why not sit down with him and discuss your feelings.  Last time I checked the film, "Tales From the Hood", that you produced was not about uplifting our society! I believe this is another prime example of a sour ol' man.  Shake the haters off Tyler and continue to do what you do.

Lil Wayne Cops Plea; Awaits Jail TIme

Young Money CEO Lil Wayne pleaded guilty to attempted weapon possession on Thursday morning(Oct 22), and expects to receive a one-year jail sentence for the his 2007 arrest in New York.  He previously had pleaded not guilty to illegal gun possession charges that carried at least 3 1/2 years in prison upon conviction and his trial was not due to start until Jan 20; however, the judge had been holding a hearing on a debated DNA profiling technique used to tie the rapper to the gun.

So......there goes another one behind bars.  Hip-Hop wake up; this is not the way to go, ask: T.I., Max B, Mystikal, C-Murder, Z-Ro, TruLife, Lil Boosie, Remy Ma, and the list goes on!

Must Be Two Sides...?

If you dont know Zaytoven; u know his work.  Almost every Gucci Mane song is produced by this man.  Recently, Zaytoven just produced Trap or Die 2 for Young Jeezy.  However, supposedly Gucci and Jeezy still have this beef going on between the two; which I still think is stupid.  I've been to Atlanta clubs where the two have been in the same club at the same time; and do you think something popped off.......no!  All Im sayin is get that money and leave the beef alone!  Check out Zaytoven's interview where he explains the reason for working with Jeezy, Usher's "Papers" and upcoming Gucci Mane projects.

Nas Owes IRS $2.5 Million Dollars

If it wasn't enough that Kelis was requesting ridiculous income from Nas; now the IRS has placed a lien against him; claiming the rapper owes $2,584,206.31 to the government for unpaid taxes on income earned throughout 2006 and 2007.   Although Nas released Greatest Hits album in 2007, and his untitled album in 2008; the question remains...... where the money at? Expect to see a flurry of songs coming out real soon if he wants to keep his butt out of jail!

Diddy Releases Mase From Bad Boy..?

Over the weekend, Diddy reportedly released Mase from his Bad Boy contract during a radio interview on V103 in Atlanta; However, the contract according to sources, was actually just an appearance release form allowing Mase to appear on other artists' songs.  This is a good start for the former Bad Boy,  who already has a big feature in the works, as well as a potential home at Interscope. 

P. Miller Gives Back To New Orleans

Former gangster rapper, Percy Miller, known as Master P, has joined forces with HUD to rebuild the New Orleans B.W. Cooper Housing projects.  This refurnished mixed-income development represents a vision Miller had to bring development money into his community.  At press time, the development is scheduled to open to residents by the end of 2010.  Additionally, P. Miller’s next community project will be Onemilliongifts.org, an ambitious directive to give one millions gifts to children in New Orleans by Christmas 2009.  This brother has really changed his image and constantly makes a effort to change the world around him.  Shouts out to Master P!

When Makin It Rain Goes Wrong

Sean Comb's recent stint on 106 and Park this week took a turn for the worst, earlier this week.  His new group, Dirty Monet was there to promote their new album.  Suddenly P Diddy walks to the crowd and makes it rain with real money and promtional bills.  However,  in the midst of that, his $20,000 ring slipped off his finger and was picked up by and unknown party.  Eventually, the audience was frisked one by one before leaving the studio, but the ring was still not found.  Tough luck for P.Diddy; Im sure he can but another one, so.............TAKE THAT TAKE THAT.  Meanwhile, be on the lookout for the ring to appear either on the streets or Ebay.

Yes folks, you have read it right....Jay Z's "Run this Town"featuring Rihanna and Kanye West,  officially becomes the New York Yankees anthem.  According to sources, the collaboration has taken over New York radio airwaves and become the Yankees' theme song as they progress in the Major League Baseball post-season.

Tyler Perry Molested By Man And Woman During Childhood

Earlier this week, Tyler Perry wrote and open letter to his fans discussing how he was abuses by both a man and woman.  Here is and excerpt from the letter:

I couldn’t have been more than 10 years old when I went over to play with her son and Matchbox cars. She opened the door in skimpy lingerie. There was a man sitting on the couch, smoking. She told me that her son was in the bedroom. I was there playing with him about 20 minutes when I heard the man arguing with her. He said he was leaving and slammed the door. She came into the bedroom and told me that I had to go home. She told her son to take a bath and she locked him in the bathroom. I was at the front door trying to get out, when she came in and laid on the sofa and asked me if I wanted the key. I told her I had to go home as it was getting dark. She put the key inside of herself and told me to come get it, pulling me on top of her.

Tyler feels that his upcoming film“Precious” has given him the courage to come out with things in his past that have haunted him for years.  Mr. Perry you are one strong brother; keep pressing on!
